Tenu jatkaa ylväästi isänsä viitoittamia tassunjälkiä tuossa hengenpelastusoperaatiossa,
sillä hän on herättänyt samaisen diabetespotilaan ensimmäisen kerran
jo 8 viikon iässä!!
Tämä seuraava juttu on ollut Tiibetinspanielit -lehdessä 2/01.
PELASTAJAKOIRA "TENU"
"Ei ole omena kauas puusta pudonnut, sillä Tenu jatkaa isänsä viitoittamia
tassunjälkiä. Akun ja Tenun tarina julkaistiin Janakkalassa ilmestyvässä
paikallislehdessä ystävänpäivänä 14.02.2001, ja nyt kerrotaan Tenun
tarina, Akunhan te jo tiedättekin. Tässä tarinassa on vain murto-osa
siitä, mitä Tenu on tehnyt. Turengin ambulanssikuskit ovat Rainen luona
käydessään (tarvittaessa, mikäli hän on todella pahassa shokissa) sanoneet,
että he voisivat ottaa Tenun maskotikseen. Niin tarkkaan koira vahtii
kaikki Rainelle tehtävät toimenpiteet."

23.02.2000 syntyi neljä tipsun pentua. Isä on
Aku
(Misschiefin Uncle Donald) ja emä Doora (Lecibsin Pandora). Kirjava
poika sai nimekseen Misschiefin Wilhelm Tell eli "Tenu".
Tämä poika saapui kotiini kahdeksan viikkoisena käärönä, mutta pian
sain huomata, että kotiini oli saapunut isänsä kaltainen "vahti",
myös väritykseltään ja luonteeltaan. Varsinkin siinä suhteessa isäänsä
tullut, kun on "herätellyt" minut shokista parisen kertaa.
Molemmilla kerroilla olen ollut sohvalla nukkumassa. Tenu on tullut
hyppimään päälleni ja näykkinyt sormista ja naamasta. Näihin olen sitten
herännyt ja käynyt syömässä koiran vahtiessa samalla tavoin kuin isänsä.
Kolmannella kerralla oli tyttöystäväni paikalla, kun Tenu huomasi shokkitilani.
Tyttöystäväni istui tietokoneen äärellä ja minä normaalilla paikalla
sohvalla selällään. Tenu kuulemma hyppäsi sohvan pääpuolelle seisomaan
selkänojaa vasten. Kun tyttöystäväni ei reagoinut tästä mitään, Tenu
"tuhnusi" tyynyillä ja alkoi etutassuillaan hakata päätäni.
Tällöin tyttöystäväni arvasi mistä oli kyse ja tuli tarkistamaan tilanteen.
Myös Tenulla on se tapa, että hän ei anna minun nukkua kerralla kauhean
kauan. Varsinkaan silloin jos olen flunssassa tai ylikipeä ja jos en
ole syönyt kunnolla ennenkuin menen maate. Siinä on minulla tosi ystäviä.

Minulla
on hiukan surullista kerrottavaa, ja emäntäni tämän kirjoittaa puolestani.
Yli 2 vuotta kestänyt ystävyys ja vahtiminen on päättynyt rakkaan isäntäni
Raine Hyypiän kohdalta. Emäntäni löysi hänet
kuolleena kotoaan 28/3/02 iltana, Raine menehtyi
pitkäaikaisen sairauden seurauksena. Emäntäni oli hakenut minut edellisenä
iltana puolentoista viikon hoidosta Rainelta ja hänen piti hakea minut
uudestaan sunnuntaina, mutta niin ei sitten tapahtunutkaan, vaikka sitä
kovasti odotin. Sain elää Rainen kanssa hyvin rikkaan ja värikkään,
myös ehkä henkisesti "väsyttävän" (vahtimisen takia) elämän,
kiitokset hänelle kaikesta.

Tenu
is a lifeguard like his father, Aku. Tenu has saved the life of a diabetic
patient for the first time at the age of 8 weeks! Satu, the owner of
Tenu, has a small son, that Tenu keeps an eye on (or two eyes). When
the baby starts crying, Tenu informs Satu that's something is probably
wrong.
Tenu continues his father's work as a life savior. Tenu's and his father's
story was published in a local newspaper February the 14th 2001 and
her's the story of Tenu. In this story you will find only a fraction
of everything that Tenu has done.
Ambulance drivers in our small town have told, that they could take
Tenu they perform. On Raine - Tiina Hirvonen February 23rd 2000 four
Tibetan Spaniel puppies were born. Sir: Misschiefin Uncle Donald and
Dame: Lecibsin Pandora. Parti-coloured male was named Misschiefin Wilhelm
Tell. This male puppy arrived at my home at the age of 8 weeks, but
soon I found out that I had received a guard just like it's father.
Especially waking me up from my diapetic insulin hocks. Both times I've
been sleeping on the couch. Tenu has jumped on my chest and legs and
he has nibbled my fingers and my face to wake up. After succeeding in
wakening he has guarded that I really do eat.
On the 3rd time my girlfriend was at home, when Tenu noticed I was going
into insulin shock. My girlfriend was sitting in front of the PC and
I was laying on my favourite place, the couch. Tenu had jumped against
the couch, but when my girlfriend didn't react to that, Tenu started
"puffing" the pillows and pounding my head with his front
paws. Now my girlfriend noticed what was happening and came to check
out the situation. Tenu also shares the habit of the habit of not letting
me sleep long periods at once. Especially when I've catched a cold or
if I haven't been eating properly beforegoing to bed. He's a true friend,
just like his father!"
